Software Sales Agent

Summary of the Role

Tricsoft Technologies Ltd is seeking motivated Software Sales Agents to drive client acquisition and revenue growth by promoting our tech solutions. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and collaborate with different teams to deliver software solutions. Success in this position means exceeding sales targets, fostering long-term client partnerships, and contributing directly to Tricsoft’s market expansion in Uganda’s tech sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals while ensuring profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align sales strategies with product roadmaps.
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality agreements.

Qualifications

Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and digital sales techniques.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably in software/tech industries.

Certifications (Added Advantage)

  • Certification in Sales, Digital Marketing, or Customer Relationship Management (a plus).
