PLANNING OFFICER

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related.
  • At least 3yrs experience in Planning, procurement and Supplies functions
  • High level of Intergrity & Confidentiality
  • High level of concentration and accuracy is paramount
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of global sourcing.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, in a similar industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ROLs for the materials are closely monitored to avoid out-off-stock scenario.
  • Stringent follow-up of ALL incoming materials from both imports and local suppliers.Collaborate with planning/production departments to understand procurement needs
  • Maintain a supplier database and ensure compliance with contracts/price.
  • Reviewing and processing planning on weekly basis.
  • Collaborating with internal teams & suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Managing and maintaining planning records and documentation.
  • Offering professional advice on planning and development issues to managements.
