PLANNING OFFICER
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related.
- At least 3yrs experience in Planning, procurement and Supplies functions
- High level of Intergrity & Confidentiality
- High level of concentration and accuracy is paramount
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of global sourcing.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, in a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure ROLs for the materials are closely monitored to avoid out-off-stock scenario.
- Stringent follow-up of ALL incoming materials from both imports and local suppliers.Collaborate with planning/production departments to understand procurement needs
- Maintain a supplier database and ensure compliance with contracts/price.
- Reviewing and processing planning on weekly basis.
- Collaborating with internal teams & suppliers to ensure project success.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations.
- Managing and maintaining planning records and documentation.
- Offering professional advice on planning and development issues to managements.
