About The Role
We are seeking an IT Intern to assist with hardware and software support at Basigo’s head office and depots across Kenya. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Reporting to the IT Manager, the intern will be responsible for providing IT support within Basigo.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Offer technical support to staff for hardware and software-related concerns.
- Set up, configure, and resolve issues with computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Track system performance and address any issues that arise.
- Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for computer maintenance.
- Investigate and suggest solutions for technical challenges.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Proficient in computer systems and software.
- Understanding of network and system security.
- Experience with hardware and software installation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Quick to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
