ACCESS Uganda is a community-based organization in Nakaseke District, Uganda, founded on the belief that everyone has a right to a healthy life. We empower communities through healthcare, education, economic opportunities, and environmental sustainability to create lasting change owned by the entire community.
Our programs focus on providing affordable healthcare through clinical and community outreach, training Village Health Teams (VHTs) to expand access to health services, and supporting maternal and child health, and non-communicable disease awareness etc. We also offer educational opportunities through the ACCESS School of Nursing and Midwifery, vocational training in bookbinding, waste management, and sustainable agriculture, and support for vulnerable children.

JOB TITLE:
Projects/ M&E officer
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to coordinate various project activities while managing risks and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for project teams, clients, and senior management, ensuring clear communication, strategic alignment, and efficient resource utilization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Application Letter – A formal letter expressing interest in the position, highlighting relevant skills and experience.
- Letter of Intent – A detailed statement outlining motivation, career goals, and alignment with the organization’s objectives.
- Academic Credentials – Certified copies of degrees, diplomas, and transcripts relevant to project management or related fields. A postgraduate diploma in either M&E or project management is added advantage.
- Recommendation Letter – A letter from a former employer, mentor, or professional reference vouching for skills and character.
- Three years work Experience – A comprehensive resume or CV detailing at least three years of work experience.
