Job Role: Responsible for developing and implementing programs, projects and activities designed to increase and retain members at the Architectural Association of Kenya.
Key responsibilities
- To implement the membership development plan, manage resources and set workflow priorities
- To report regular progress reports on activity against targets e.g. growth projections, campaign effectiveness, response timescales for membership inquiries, etc.
- To manage member events
- To contribute to the membership development plan and review with the CEO all activity including: Member recruitment and retention campaigns
- To interpret membership recruitment and retention statistics and review member research and make recommendations
- General marketing activity including the sale and delivery of association services to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate membership records and marketing databases
- To manage member communications including responding to member queries and the
- production and inventory of membership and marketing material e.g. letters, newsletters, e-bulletins and brochures
- To manage member market research
- To manage member recognition programmes
- To assist in PR activity including the publication of press releases
- To manage affiliate activity and relationships with external suppliers
Requirements
- Candidates are required to hold a university degree with at least 2 years relevant experience
- A good knowledge of marketing, management, administration, planning, market research and member relationship management skills and techniques
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other sections and stakeholders
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
