WE ARE HIRING A RESIDENT MEDICAL OFFICER
Valley Hospital, is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru offering both inpatient and outpatient services, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Officer to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Conduct medical assessments, diagnose conditions, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries as required.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and case discussions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and medical ethics in patient management.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
ACLS/BLS Certification
Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
