Job Description

  • We are looking for a versatile and highly-organized personal assistant to perform personalized administrative duties for senior management. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling meetings, taking notes, and handling correspondence on behalf of managers. You may also be required to make travel arrangements and assist with other duties when required.
  • To ensure success as a personal assistant, you should exhibit excellent organizational skills and demonstrable experience in a secretarial role. Accomplished personal assistants are intuitive to the needs of the managers and work autonomously to provide customized administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Take accurate and comprehensive notes at meetings.
  • Help with daily time management
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars
  • Ordering office supplies and replacements, as well as managing mail and courier services
  • Scheduling appointments, maintaining events calendar and sending reminders
  • Oversee the performance of other clerical staff
  • Run errands as requested
  • Plan travel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation
  • Coordinate office appointments and meetings
  • Draft correspondence such as emails and letters
  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • BSc / HND in any related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a personal assistant would be advantageous.
  • Must be proactive.
  • Must possess organizational and time management skills.
  • Extensive experience in creating documents and spreadsheets, using office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced typing, note-taking, record keeping skills.
  • Ability to manage internal and external correspondence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • The preferred location of applicants is Lekki
