Job Description

  • The Drone Pilot will be responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to conduct aerial operations in line with company objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure safety, precision, and compliance with all regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate drones for aerial surveys, inspections, monitoring, and other project-specific tasks.
  • Plan and execute safe flight operations in compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with UAVs, ensuring optimal performance and readiness.
  • Analyze data captured during flights and generate detailed reports to support operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement drone-based solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest drone technologies and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure UAVs are in optimal condition.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of UAV regulations and ensure compliance with local and international standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Drone Pilot with a valid Remote Pilot License (RPL) or equivalent certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Evidence of training on the use of UAVs especially VTOL
  • Evidence of registration and license to fly as a drone pilot
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining commercial-grade drones.
  • Strong understanding of UAV regulations, aviation regulations, airspace management, and safety standards.
  • Experience with aerial survey GIS, mapping, or photogrammetry software is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret aerial data effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience as a Drone Pilot, with a valid UAV pilot certification.
  • Proficiency in operating various drone models and associated software.
  • Experience in data analysis, data visualization and reporting tools is an advantage. Analytical skills and
